A PSM program combines coursework in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines with courses designed to develop professional workplace skills, such as project management, communication strategies, leadership, and ethics. PSM programs typically culminate in an applied, hands-on internship.
All affiliated PSMs must have an active and engaged advisory board of leaders from industry, business, government, and/or non-profit organizations.
Yes the Professional Applied and Computational Mathematics program is a Professional Science Master's affiliated program. Initial affiliation status was approved in 2010.
